Newsletter Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 4 August 2026
These Newsletter Terms & Conditions explain what you can expect when receiving marketing emails from Bee Mercy.
1. About Our Newsletter
Bee Mercy is a trading name of Mercy Foods Ltd.
Our emails may include:
- Honey education, stories and articles
- Information about our products
- New product announcements
- Special offers and seasonal promotions
- Competitions and prize draws
- Bee Mercy news
- Pollen Points updates
- Other information we believe may interest our customers
Subscribing to our newsletter is entirely optional and does not affect your ability to browse our website or place an order.
2. How Often We Email
We normally send one or two marketing emails each week.
The frequency may vary during product launches, seasonal campaigns, competitions and promotional periods. At quieter times, we may email less frequently.
We aim to make every email relevant, useful and worthy of your inbox.
3. Receiving Marketing Emails
You may receive marketing emails from Bee Mercy if:
- You have actively subscribed to our newsletter; or
- You previously purchased from us and we are permitted to contact you about similar products under applicable UK electronic-marketing rules.
We will only send marketing communications where we have an appropriate lawful basis for doing so.
You can withdraw your consent or opt out of marketing emails at any time.
4. Offers and Promotional Codes
From time to time, our emails may contain discounts, promotional codes or subscriber-only offers.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Offers are available for a limited time
- Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash
- Only one promotional code may be used per order
- Promotional codes cannot normally be combined with another discount
- Certain products, collections or delivery charges may be excluded
- Offers remain subject to availability
Some promotions, competitions or prize draws may have their own additional terms. Where this applies, those terms will be provided with the relevant promotion.
Bee Mercy reserves the right to amend, withdraw or cancel an offer where reasonably necessary, for example, because of a technical error, misuse or circumstances outside our control. This does not affect your statutory rights.
5. Unsubscribing
Every Bee Mercy marketing email will include an unsubscribe link.
You can unsubscribe by:
- Selecting the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of our marketing emails; or
- Contacting us at info@beemercy.com
We will process unsubscribe requests as soon as reasonably possible. You may receive an email already scheduled for delivery while your request is being processed.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending essential service communications relating to an order, payment, delivery, return, account or customer-service enquiry.
6. Your Personal Information
When you subscribe, we may collect information such as your name, email address, subscription preferences and information showing when and how you subscribed.
We use this information to:
- Deliver our emails
- Manage your subscription preferences
- Keep an appropriate record of your consent
- Understand how our emails are performing
- Improve the relevance of our communications
- Meet our legal and regulatory responsibilities
We may use trusted service providers, such as an email-marketing platform, to process this information on our behalf. We do not sell your email address to third parties.
Further information about how Bee Mercy collects, uses, stores and protects personal information can be found in our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to the Newsletter
We may change the content, format or frequency of our emails, or discontinue the newsletter, at any time.
We may also remove an email address from our mailing list where:
- The address appears to be invalid or fraudulent
- Messages repeatedly cannot be delivered
- Continued contact could affect the security or operation of our email service
- We are required to do so by law
- A person has requested to unsubscribe
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Newsletter Terms & Conditions occasionally to reflect changes to our newsletter service, business practices or legal obligations.
